Aug 15, 2012 · I'd like to hook my WII up to the Internet through my Toshiba Windows Vista Lap Top. I'm wanting the WII hooked to the Internet because Dish has taken some of or favorite T.V. channels away, and with the WII hooek up we can get the channels through Apple ITUNES.. Using the Left Stick, select the "Internet" icon and press the A Button. Select "Connect to the Internet." Wii U will search for available Wi-Fi networks in your area. Once the search completes, use the Right Stick to scroll up and down through the list of networks and select the name of your Wi-Fi network. It’s very easy, it shows you step by step. I haven’t used the Internet in mine for a while so I can’t really explain how to do it good. But to get better signal when trying to connect, make sure that there’s not alot of stuff in the way between your Wii and Internet box. Or else it will take a long time to connect.
